We can create a strong decorative feature with extra large specimen plants that individually or in a group, already create an impact. These species differ from the leading plants of interior garden compositions as the plant itself is placed as a feature.
Groups of plants and tree lines are often installed in a pre-fabricated concrete trough sunk into the floor, this looks significantly more natural than placing it in a container, however the plants in this case cannot be turned, thus in the case of a one sided light source, due to the greater canopy loss on the darker side the sustainable life of the plants is shortened. The stabilizing (hidden) of the plants as well the development of accessible planting holes covered by pedestrian grids are all technical problems to be solved. |
